Back on deviant. Ive been gone for a long time time working and publishing my comic books. I would like to show more of them in my gallery, but I'm waiting until the time is right. currently there are 6 pages of beastslayer in my featured. Beast Slayer B.C. Is a depiction of the caveman that still exists as a part of our psyche. This untamed piece of the human mind is forgotten in our day to day lives. Forgotten, but not absent. This inner caveman longs to smash the skull of any living creature that walks the same world. Our right to propagate is cemented in time by our bloodlust. This part of the forgotten mind yearns to rampage with crude metal weapons.
Yearns to choose fight over flight. Yearns to use our clubs and spears before our primitive words. Our Bible is the blood of heroes, and the legend of our saints. Beast Slayer B.C. is the unexpected factor to incidents like the Columbine Shooting and events alike. We cage ourselves in cubicles, cast our misfits aside. We forget about the instinctual nature we all share. Then when some outcast kid goes to school with a gun we act surprised. Well not me, I know if those same kids were aloud to defend their honor in a more righteous way they would.
The structure of social hierarchy is geared to favor the elite slayers. The elite are decided by their violent deeds, and their devotion to casual massacres. To claim one's mark in this world is to bring home a fearsome beast to eat with our kin, not to have a successful career. The young training to become beast slayers are fed to the hounds if proven to feeble. The un-suit youth are to be quarantined, and prevented from reproducing. There are three reasons for this. One being that the slayer community is too proud of it's elite, and don't want the feeble to lesser their ranks. The second is to protect the honor of the slayer's family to be (weak slayers raise more weak slayers). The third is to be able to protect one's family from the wretched, and natural disasters. This means that in the slayer community there is no need for firefighters. All slayers are firefighters. If the slayer is un-suit to handle that duty he's not likely to have a family in the first place. This is where an important observation is made about the tamed world we live in. In our time the feeble are propagating because our world caters to their squeamish ways such as; fiscal positioning, and legal representation. These feeble who are marked with success in our time would have been removed from life itself. The women of our day would have to decide if they want a rich man (in a time where currency holds no value),or a man who is capable of protecting them from dragons. The choice is obviously clear, this is my statement of disgust towards the times we live in.

Welcome to my page.
My name is Murphy but someone already took that domain name, so.... on Deviant you will know me as Muerphy. I have alot more art thats not uploaded, any feedback will help me select pieces the patrons adore. Im coming out with a short comic in upcoming months and i will refer the readers to this page. Hopefully there will be enough web traffic to convince me to spend more time submitting art to this site. Either way ill be making alot of good artwork in the times to come. If you browse my gallery you'll see the good, the bad, and the ugly. let me know whats bunk and whats cool.
I mostly work with pen and ink pieces on plain paper. I want to know how to use digital arts better, I know a little but overall pretty novice with adobe. So I usaully rely on my traditional background with some scanning help lol. I'm working with a "Beast Slayer"theme i have. Ive found it to be a great medium for explaining whats wrong with our world today, and how a young guy like me should be out tracking and killing dinosaurs instead of blogging..... I'll add a separate journal for the Beast Slayer work. I also do alot of small critter twisted disney stuff too.
